Before now,I never paid much attention to my diet or what kind of food I was consuming. I ate a lot of starchy foods : rice,garri,semo,oat swallow etc and less proteins & vegetables.
Few months ago,I started an Instagram water challenge with my friend Jane where we pledged to take at least 2 liters of water everyday for the next 21 days & the results were remarkable! My skin & health experienced significant change in that short period & it inspired me to continue the healthy living journey.
I tried another health tip: eating vegetables, and it did wonders to my skin. My skin got clearer & brighter in the 2 short weeks I tried it & I would be a bad person if I don’t share this secret with you all.
I started with eating Fluted Pumpkin leaves known as Ugu leaves in Nigeria. They cost 50 Naira in Port Harcourt where I live & I spent a total of 300 Naira doing this health experiment. Later,other vegetables like carrots,green peas & cabbage were added to this health experiment and they still did wonders to my skin.

In conclusion,please don’t depend on skincare products alone to make you glow. Eat healthy,sleep early,exercise & of course drink water & mind your business.
NB: I’m still working on the exercise & sleeping early part though. 😄🙈
